They Underestimated Her. Now She’s About to Shake the World.
Saràh Phenom in an Exclusive Interview’s words: “I’m a walking testimony!”
A young female artist who refuses to be ignored, refuses to be broken, and refuses to let anyone dim her light.
She is Rwandese by blood, holds Belgian citizenship, and lives in the United Kingdom. But her heart belongs to Africa and her dreams belong to the world.
Hollywood didn’t see her coming.
They failed.
Today, Saràh Phenom is not just dreaming about winning a Grammy. Sarah is planning for it, preparing for it and she’s expecting it.
Our Global Vibe News journalist had the rare privilege of stepping into Saràh’s world – right into her mother’s home in the beautiful Nyarutarama neighborhood of Kigali.
We sat together on the same couch, just like old friends, for an exclusive interview.
She welcomed us with a warmth that instantly made us forget we were journalists. She was friendly, open, and incredibly intelligent – answering every tricky question with a grace that left us speechless.
But what struck us most wasn’t just her charm. It was her vision. A vision so big, so bold, that we believe it will serve the entertainment industry globally.

The Girl Who Had Nothing but a Dream
Her father passed away. Her mother raised her alone. She sang in secret because she didn’t believe in herself.
“My mom always told me, ‘You’re a star.’ But I didn’t believe her. I thought she was just saying it because she’s, my mother.”
And then she made the decision that would change everything.
“I moved to a country with no money, no resources, slept on a couch for a year. I left my friends behind, left everything and I didn’t care as long as I got to live that dream.”
Can you imagine? Leaving everything you know. Your family, home and Your comfort. With just £200 in your pocket and a dream in your heart.
Saràh did.
In August 2026, Saràh returned home to Rwanda for her cousin’s wedding. But she couldn’t sit still – she’s a workaholic, she admits. So, she reached out to Rema’s team and was invited to perform at BK Arena during the Kwita Izina concert.
Behind the scenes, some individuals tried to block her performance. They pushed back. They made it difficult.
Saràh was hurt. And some people were trying to stop her.
She locked herself in her dressing room. She dropped to her knees. And she prayed.
“God, if this isn’t for me, let me know… I will go home with my heart at peace. But God, show it to me by letting us go on stage by fire, by force, in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
And then the miracle happen.

Rema’s team stood by her side. They had her back. They believed in her.
And she walked on that stage.
“The same people that tried to block me saw me on stage. That’s what I’m happy about!”
The Fans Who Healed Her Heart
When Saràh finally stepped on stage, she saw them – young people from a youth center she had worked with. Kids who had made videos of her songs. They were dancing, cheering and smiling.
“When I saw them enjoying the concert, that made me happy. That really gave me the real joy.”
She thought the show was bad. She thought she had failed. But when she went online, she saw the love.
“I wasn’t expecting that reaction. But when I saw it, and I saw people reacting to me, it made me happy and gave me more confidence.”
The fans didn’t care about the drama. They saw her, loved her and believed in her.

The Rejection That Almost Broke Her
In 2025, Saràh stopped releasing music for a full year.
“I let things got to me when I was a bit younger. I wish I didn’t because I think that slowed me down.”
Saràh’s faith is everything to her.
“I walk in a constant state of abundance because I believe in Jesus. He’s never let me down ever. I’m literally a testimony. I’m a walking testimony.”
When asked about celebrities who visit witch doctors for fame, she answered instantly: “Jesus keeps me away from these people. I believe in Jesus Christ as my Savior.”

Hollywood Didn’t See Her Coming
Here’s the truth Hollywood doesn’t want you to know:
Saràh Phenom has no big label. No management. No financial backing. She’s independent, broke, and fighting every single day.
“I’m basically alone.”
She works side jobs just to survive.
“You have to have a second job. You don’t have a choice. A lot of artists that you see, they are very broke till they make it.”
And yet, she has shared stages with Rema. She has performed at BK Arena.
How?
“God has put me in places even at my small level of career in big spaces. I’m a testimony.”

The Future: A One-Woman Show at BK Arena
Saràh dreams of a one-woman show at BK Arena. She wants to fill it with her own music, her own fans, her own energy.
“That was never going to stop me from getting on stage.”
She also dreams of building Rwanda’s music industry.
The Final Message
Saràh Phenom is not just an artist. She is a next global star. A dreamer. A fighter.
Phenom slept on couches so she can wake up singing. She works side jobs so she can produce music and kneels in dressing rooms and prays for miracles. This Lady walks on stages when people try to block her.
“Nothing can stop me from getting on stage.”
And nothing can stop you either.
“I will win a Grammy. I want to show the world what a woman raised in Rwanda can offer the world.”
Saràh Phenom is the next global icon Hollywood never saw coming.
She is Rwandese by blood. Belgian by citizenship. British by residence. And African by heart.
But now they’re watching. And they can’t look away.
Because when someone refuses to break – they become unstoppable.
On Her Gratitude for Rema and His Team
This was Saràh’s second time sharing a stage with Rema, but it was this moment in Rwanda that truly highlighted the character of his team.
When some individuals tried to block her from performing, Rema’s team didn’t hesitate. They stood by her side and made sure she got on that stage.
She emphasizes how much that support meant to her, especially in such a high-pressure environment:
“I really felt supported by his team specifically. Like, I’m extremely grateful for the kind of connections and relationships that I’ve been able to build until this point of my career.”
She also noted how even the local crew – the sound engineers and visual team had her back throughout the performance. The experience, despite the pushback, became a moment of solidarity and grace that she wouldn’t forget.
Picture this…
The lights are blinding. The crowd is silent. Hollywood’s biggest stars are holding their breath. Saràh steps onto the red carpet – arm in arm with her mother, the woman who never stopped believing in her.
Her mom is glowing, holding back tears, wearing a custom Saràh Phenom t-shirt like she did at BK Arena.
The host takes the stage. The envelope opens.
“And the Grammy Award goes to…”
Silence. The whole world waits.
“Saràh Phenom.”
The Moment That Changed Everything
Thousands of cameras flash. The crowd erupts. Saràh freezes. This is the moment she prayed for – on her knees in a dressing room, when people tried to block her from performing. The moment she dreamed of when she slept on a couch in London with no money and no resources.
She walks to the stage. The tears start before she can speak.
“This Grammy is not only for me. It belongs to my mom who told me I was a star even when I didn’t believe her. It belongs to every fan who stood by me. Rwanda, the country of 1,000 hills – where my heart will always belong.”
She tries to continue. But the tears take over.
Sarah drops to her knees and she raises her hands to heaven but the world knows exactly what she’s saying: “Thank You, God.”
The Aftermath -A Star Is Born
Within minutes, her phone explodes. Rema posts a heartfelt congratulations! International celebrities flood her Instagram DMs begging for collaborations. Hollywood executives are calling. The biggest names in music want to work with her.
But it doesn’t stop there.
International media invites her for live TV interviews. Global icons slide into her DMs not just for music, but for something more. Hollywood decides to honor her with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
And then, the most beautiful moment of all.
Back home in Rwanda, at Kigali International Airport, she steps off the plane – Grammy in hand. Her feet touch the soil of the country of 1,000 hills. Waiting for her are media, friends, and fans holding flowers, cheering her name.
They ask her: “What’s the first thing you’ll do now?”
She smiles through tears and says:
“I’m going to church. To give God all the glory.”
Because she never forgot. The woman who slept on a couch, who sang in secret, who dropped to her knees and prayed for a miracle – she never forgot who brought her here.
